Anne Kelly: Birds workshop

Birds are everywhere in textile art and it is always fun to include them in your work. Design and make a unique bird in this relaxing and creative one day workshop. Anne will help you to create a really memorable piece of textile art, using a mixture of textiles sourced and found in your collections. All materials are provided but please bring an image of a bird to work from, a backing fabric (neutral or embroidered strong cotton, canvas or linen, no larger than A4). You may also wish to bring scrap fabrics, ribbons, trims and threads to personalise your piece.

The workshop is 10 - 4pm

Information for art workshops:
Full payment will be taken at time of booking (this is non refundable or transferable to a different workshop). However IF this workshop has to be cancelled due to coronavirus you will of course receive a refund in full.

All materials and use of equipment are included, however it is recommended that you bring a few items to personalise the work (as listed above)

Please bring a packed lunch. However cold drinks, tea & coffee will be provided.

Under 16’s must be accompanied by a participating, paying adult.

Please be aware the workshop artists retain the intellectual property to their own ideas- you cannot go into business making, or running workshops showing copies of the artists work. You can however use the ideas for personal use and with your own students, if you are a teacher.
