Murgatroyd & Bean: Creatures from the Kitchen Drawer

After the clock has struck midnight and the wooden stairs have creaked their last for the day, the creatures from the kitchen drawer emerge ready for an adventure…
In the Applewood workshop, Murgatroyd and Bean weave tales and bring characters to life using needle, thread and repurposed materials. - this practical workshop gives you the opportunity to do the same. Over the course of the day you will create your own 3D creature incorporating a small kitchen utensil which forms part of its structure. These mixed media pieces, combining fabric and found objects, will be formed using binding, handstitch and embroidery techniques. All materials will be provided but please bring along fabric scraps, haberdashery and a utensil with meaning to personalise your piece

The workshop is 10 - 4pm
