Lucy Baxendale: Monster Planter workshop

£55.00

In this half day hands-on workshop, ceramicist Lucy Baxendale will guide you through the process of designing, sculpting, and decorating your very own one-of-a-kind monster planter. Whether you're a beginner or experienced with clay, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to explore your creative side and bring your ideas to life.
Throughout the session, you’ll learn basic ceramic techniques to shape and form your monster planter. From sketching out your design to sculpting the features of your planter, Lucy will provide step-by-step guidance on how to create a unique piece that reflects your personality and sense of fun. Once your planter is complete, you’ll have the chance to decorate it, adding texture and colour.

After the workshop, your creation will be carefully fired and finished, before being posted back to you as a fully functional and beautifully crafted planter early in the New Year. Please note there will be a charge of £5 for postage payable in cash direct to Lucy on the day.

All materials and use of equipment are included, however it is recommended that you bring an apron.

This half day workshop is 10 - 1pm
