This workshop will provide you with the opportunity to explore and experiment using a wire composition to create a playful sense of place, exploring observations of the natural world, using a mixed media approach, working with wire, printed papers, fragments of cloth, threads and bringing these elements together using a selection of techniques such as hand stitch, wrapping & binding, fabric manipulation and crochet. All materials are provided, but please do bring along fabric and paper scraps, threads, haberdashery, buttons and lace to personalize.

The workshop is 10 - 4pm

Full payment will be taken at time of booking (this is non refundable or transferable to a different workshop)

All materials and use of equipment are included, however it is
recommended that you bring a few items to personalise the work (see above)

Please bring a packed lunch. However cold drinks, tea & coffee will be provided.

Under 16’s must be accompanied by a participating, paying adult.

Please be aware the workshop artists retain the intellectual property to their own ideas- you cannot go into business making, or running workshops showing copies of the artists work. You can however use the ideas for personal use and with your own students, if you are a teacher.
