Kathy Hutton: Mono-Printed Still Life workshop
In this workshop you will learn various mono-print and simple block printing techniques to create one of a kind still life prints. We will draw from life using seasonal wild flowers and patterned vintage cups, jugs and glass vessels as our inspiration. The morning will be spent trying out monoprints and experimenting with mark making and drawing in ink. We will also look at simple patterns and Kathy will share easy techniques to make tiny printing blocks that will enhance your prints. You will create at least one final print ready to frame, as well as many smaller studies. All materials are provided but you may wish to bring flowers from your garden and your own favourite cups, jugs or vases to draw them in to personalise your work.
The workshop is 10 - 4pm
