Jennifer Collier: Paper Shirts

Using found and recycled papers to make decorative paper shirts. Jennifer will demonstrate every stage of the shirt, including a paper pocket, collar, button placket, and you will be shown a cunning trick of how to insert the sleeves so that the shirt looks almost good enough to wear! This workshop will mainly involve machine stich with hand stitch used for the buttons. Please bring along your own special papers, favourite books and maps to incorporate into your work.

The workshop is 10 - 4pm

Information for art workshops:
Full payment will be taken at time of booking (this is non refundable or transferable to a different workshop). However IF this workshop has to be cancelled due to coronavirus you will of course receive a refund in full.

We are continuing to limit the participants to ensure social distancing is maintained, and are keeping both doors open for ventilation, and are asking participants to wear masks when moving about the space.

All materials and use of equipment are included, however it is
recommended that you bring a few items to personalise the work (as listed above)

Please bring a packed lunch. However cold drinks, tea & coffee will be provided.

Under 16’s must be accompanied by a participating, paying adult.

Please be aware the workshop artists retain the intellectual property to their own ideas- you cannot go into business making, or running workshops showing copies of the artists work. You can however use the ideas for personal use and with your own students, if you are a teacher.
