Jennifer Collier: NEW Lozenge Paper Light Shades

£85.00

Learn to make an 'elliptical' shaped lozenge lightshade shade (which can be for a lamp or ceiling light) from beautiful recycled papers.

You will spend the day working with vintage papers to create the 'fabric' for the shade, and will be shown techniques to decorate these, such as cut throughs, covered bindings and button loops. You will also use hand and machine stitch to embellish and embrace light, so the shade becomes truly magical when lit! You will then be shown every step of the process, and will leave with a small lozenge paper light shade (16cm high x 20cm wide x 13cm deep)

All materials and equipment are provided, including the shade kit, but please do bring your own special papers, books and maps to personalize. NB Extra shades will be available to purchase on the day for £10 each.

The workshop is 10 - 4pm
