Jennifer Collier: Everlasting Plants in Paper Pots and Paper Watering Cans

You will create everlasting paper plants in handmade plant pots that you can enjoy all year round, from found and recycled papers and botanical illustrations. Jennifer will demonstrate every step of the process, from constructing your plant pot, creating the soil, selecting which illustration to use and tips to embellished with hand stitch.
You will go onto making a Paper Watering Can to accompany your plant pot, again using vintage recycled papers and botanical illustrations All materials and equipment are provided but you may wish to bring your owns special papers, books, maps, botanical illustrations and ephemera to personalise your work.

The workshop is 10 - 4pm

Full payment will be taken at time of booking (this is non refundable or transferable to a different workshop). However IF this workshops has to be cancelled you will of course receive a refund in full.

All materials and use of equipment are included, however it is recommended that you bring a few items to personalise the work (as listed above)

Please bring a packed lunch. However hot and cold drinks, biscuits and cake will be provided!

Under 16’s must be accompanied by a participating, paying adult.

Please be aware the workshop artists retain the intellectual property to their own ideas- you cannot go into business making, or running workshops showing copies of the artists work. You can however use the ideas for personal use and with your own students, if you are a teacher.
