Fran Buxton: Stitch, Weave, Knot – A hoop full of texture

Inspired by weaving, hand stitch, and knotting techniques, you will create a textured circular wall hanging – a hoop or wreath that is good enough to be enjoyed all year round! You will combine yarn and textiles with the optional addition of found objects and haberdashery, to explore areas of calm and busy, balancing negative space with organic patterns. All materials are provided but please bring along your own lace, wool, fabric, haberdashery or small treasures (buckles, washers, broken jewellery etc) to personalise.

The workshop is 10 - 4pm
