Bryony Rose Jennings: Scrappy Carnival Birds workshop

In this workshop you create your own sculpted textile bird, by creating a form and exploring construction with wire, fabric and stuffing.
In a unique approach to sculpting we will layer and hand stitch fabric adding wirework and embellishments to realise your vision. As our birds take shape, the magic starts to happen, and a personality begins to emerge. We can experiment with different methods of design, to build character and suggest expression using innovative sewing and wire working techniques. All materials are provided, but do bring along scrap fabrics, haberdashery, coloured knitting needles, beads or threads to personalize your sculpture.

The workshop is 10 - 4pm
