Experiment with local plants, rusty metal and food waste to create exciting patterns on cloth. You will have the chance to try different techniques to create lovely, delicate colours and learn how to do simple dyeing at home with basic equipment. Please bring white/light coloured natural fibre fabric and threads to dye (silk and wool is best but cotton and linen can work too) and rusty metal objects. A range of materials, silk scarves, vintage cloth, threads and small scraps can also be bought on the day.

The workshop is 10 - 4pm
